An amazing lady called Jo greeted us and made us feel really at home, nothing was to much trouble and our room was amazing (the Rose Room) from the window ledge seat you could see the Bay of Looe and the sea. The grounds of the House were also beautiful and very relaxing. First class breakfast, cooked to order and a great selection. We cannot wait to return, this is a great place what ever time of the year.

I stayed at Bucklawren B&B for four nights in October and had a wonderful time. My room, the Foxglove, was spacious, the decor gorgeous (as in the rest of the house), the view of the sea and fields impressive. On top of this, the breakfast was top-class with lots of choices. Jo went out of her way to help, for example with my laundry and also heating my food in the microwave. The property is a short drive to Looe and not far from Liskeard. I thoroughly recommend Bucklawren for a relaxing stay.

What a wonderful stay in the beautiful house that is Bucklawren. Jo welcomed us with tea and lovely home made cake in the conservatory. Our room, which looked over fields to the sea and Looe Island, was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, very comfortable and exceptionally well equipped with everything we could possibly need. Breakfasts were perfection with plenty of choice, served by either Jo or her mum Jean (who made the most delicious marmalade). Would thoroughly recommend, nothing was too much trouble, can’t praise them enough and will definitely stay again.

My wife and had a wonderful 6 days staying at Bucklawren farm bed and breakfast. Jo was a really friendly hostess and very helpful to advise where to visit in Cornwall. The room was excellent had contained everything you would require for your stay. The views from the room and farm were superb and it’s position made it very quiet and peaceful location. The breakfast was also excellent and your choice was no trouble at all. The location of the farm was ideal for visiting all parts of Cornwall which we did. Thank-you Jo!

We have just returned from a weeks stay at this beautiful farmhouse. We had a fantastic holiday and most of this was down to the wonderful host Jo. She made us feel welcome from the minute we arrived. We had the “Foxglove” room with a stunning view overlooking Looe Bay and Island. It was magical sitting there at night with a glass of wine and enjoying the view. The room had everything we needed (even a little fridge) and was tastefully furnished. There was a lovely big shower and a really comfortable bed. Breakfast was amazing, with lots of choice and “real” coffee! Jo hosted breakfast so professionally and we were really impressed. She always had time for a chat and advised us what beaches to go to and the best places to eat. The farm is in a very quiet location and it took us quite a time to find, but Jo gave us the directions of a much shorter route, which was much better. Thanks Jo for being such a wonderful host! Oh and we can recommend the Copley Arms public house for a fantastic steak pie. Make sure you are hungry before you get there though!

Everything about this place is brilliant and they look after you so professionally to excellent standards – I know where to visit next time I’m down here again it’s a lovely guest house and I was made welcome straight away with a lovely cup of coffee and cakes after a long 400 mile journey.

My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights over Easter weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We received a warm welcome and were shown up to our very cosy room with modern en suite facilities. We found it to be close enough to local towns to make eating out nice and easy, but far enough from noisy places to create a peaceful location to stay. Great rooms, delicious breakfasts and lovely hosts. We will definitely return soon.

Lovely location, so peaceful. Views down to Looe from the front. The room was lovely and all spotless. Nice touches with a mini fridge and bottles of water. Good quality products for breakfast which was delicious and plenty of it. Jo was a great host, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Would love to come back and would happily recommend highly .

The rooms are perfect, there really is nothing to find fault with here, and would thoroughly recommend a stay here. We loved it and will definitely return one day.

If you’re looking for a relaxing environment to stay, that provides peace, tranquility and the perfect host whilst visiting Looe, then this is definitely the place to book! From the moment we arrived until we left, we were treated with 5* hospitality.

The farm is about 4 miles outside Looe. It’s a very well-kept B&B and our host, Jo is one of the best! We stayed in a lovely clean, well-furnished room complete with walk in shower. Breakfast was excellent and had full English with all the trimmings most days. The farm guest buildings also included self-contained villas which we are very tempted to try if we visit again. The roads leading to the farm are typically Cornish and very narrow. We did several hilly, but picturesque walks, one to Millendreath and the other to Seaton. Both beaches are around two miles from the farm and are very good for kids. We found all of the local folk extremely friendly.

My partner and I stayed here for a few nights and it was amazing!! Best place we’ve probably ever stayed in – our room was absolutely immaculate, clean, tidy and fresh. Jo was so attentive, remembered us personally and made breakfast homemade. It was really different from commercial hotels, such a personal touch. Also in a great location, super quiet and peaceful area, a short drive from Looe and Polperro, and also the beach. Highly recommend, 10/10 would definitely visit again.

We have just returned from a week away at this B&B and cannot recommend it enough! Jo is a wonderful host, very friendly, helpful and informative. She served a wide choice of delicious breakfasts, which kept us going until tea-time. Our room was spotlessly clean and well supplied with drinks and even delicious, homemade cake on arrival. There was a small fridge and, in the bathroom, lovely toiletries. The surrounding countryside and sea view is stunning and we look forward to returning.

First stay at this wonderful B&B, 10 day stay. From our initial enquiry Jo, our host, answered our queries so we knew exactly what we were booking. On our arrival, greeted warmly by Jo, even though we arrived earlier than check in time without prior notice our delightful room, overlooking fields down to Looe in distance was ready for us. Spotlessly clean, everything waiting for us, drinks hot & cold, biscuits, homemade cake. A small fridge in the room which was replenished daily with our requested fresh milk by Jo. Nothing to much trouble. The surrounding gardens, lovingly tended by Jo’s Dad, was so peaceful, with picnic tables available. Breakfast – good choice of cereals and fresh fruits, cooked breakfast ordered the day before, freshly cooked and plentiful . I would definitely recommend this delightful place, for a peaceful and relaxing holiday. We both enjoyed this break in the tranquil environment, and would plan to return in the future.

Jo is a great host, friendly and attentive with great knowledge of the area. Lovely breakfast as well with lots of choice. We stayed in a spacious family room with stunning views from the window and the small fridge in the room made a great addition.

Jo was warm and welcoming after our long journey. She’s incredibly knowledgeable about the area and was happy to recommend places to visit. Although we opted for Polperro. Our stay was very short but we plan to return as soon as we can. Jo’s breakfasts are very good, she uses all fresh ingredients. We thoroughly recommend Bucklawren Farm as a place to stay and travel from around the area.
