The Bucklawren Walk

15 minutes each way

A favourite with the family for a short walk to stretch the legs! Either go left and or right from Bucklawren and keep going in that direction every time you reach a junction and you’ll do a full circle with hardly a hill in site but spectacular views of the countryside and coast.

Circular Walk to Millendreath

29 minutes each way

Take the road from Bucklawren down the steep hill to Millendreath. Once you reach Millendreath bear left up the steep lane and take the coastal path. You will reach Bay View and the road where you need to continue until you reach The Monkey Sanctuary. Take the road to the left and continue for about ½ mile when you will come to a crossroads and take the left turning. After ¼ mile you will reach Bucklawren.

Walk to Looe

1 hour each way

Take the road from Bucklawren down the steep hill to Millendreath. Once you reach Millendreath take the steps to the right and follow the Coastal Path to Looe via Plaidy beach. If you don’t want to walk back then take a taxi from the rank by the bridge or catch the bus to No Mans Land and walk back to Bucklawren.

Circular Walk to Seaton

59 minutes each way

Take the road in front on the farmhouse, at the crossroads go straight over. You will meet another road where you need to take the right turning. Continue until you reach Keveral and take the track, the footpath will bring you down to Seaton. To return to Bucklawren take the left turning just past the bridge and walk up the road – it will eventually bring you back to the Keveral turning.
